Machine Learning
Machine learning has been around for many decades, and is largely coupled with statistics and data science, the information explosion of the last decade has heralded the age of machine learning, which has the potential to replace many current job sectors such as the healthcare and transport industries.
Whereas machine learning is more focused on its predictive power, artificial intelligence is a higher level form of machine learning where machines are used to analyse, interact and respond with their environment. Artificial intelligence is being developed to create machines that are superior to humans at completing specific tasks, such as driving cars, or machines that can survive in environments that humans are unable too, such as the close vicinity of a volcano, or even in space.
